About the blog:
I love to draw, sew, craft, and write! This blog is where I share those passions with the world.
My mission is to create more of what I want to see in the world, and I love free stuff! So all of my coloring pages are 100% free of charge, and likely always will be.
With that said though, please consider what I do as an act of charity. I urge you to value the work of artists and to support the artists you love financially whenever you can! We deserve to eat too. If you wish you could throw money at me specifically, please use that money to support a different artist, as I am not currently taking donations or selling anything!
My work is HUMAN MADE and I DO NOT use AI GENERATION in any part of my creative process!
About Me:
My name is Ari, obviously! I’m in my late twenties. I was born and raised in the Northwestern United States.
Proud to say I’m a mom! My wife and I have an amazing daughter in preschool who continues to blow us away every day with how creative and smart she is.
Our whole family is very neurodivergent, and both my wife and I are physically disabled. This makes life complicated and challenging, but we make it work somehow. Needless to say… We’re exhausted! But we’re fueled by love, resilience, and a whole bunch of caffeine!
Coffee remains as my main vice because I gave up my other ones in favor of sobriety, going on five years strong! I had more time but there were some slip ups. The past is in the past though, and when I fall down I get right back up again!
Being Jewish and living with my Chamorro family-in-law is certainly interesting! For example, I don’t eat pork and for them it’s a staple! Thankfully they love chicken and beef too, and wow they make some great food! Beef short ribs and corn soup top the charts for my favorite foods, right next to matzo ball soup. I wonder how matzo balls would taste in corn soup… I really need to try that, the only problem is that I hate to cook! Our house can be quite hectic during the half of the year that my in-laws aren’t on Guam, but our daughter absolutely loves getting to see her Papa and Nana every day when they’re here.
I’m one of those people that would actually wish for world peace if I could wish for anything. What can I say? I’m an idealistic peacenik. I’m tired of all the fighting and wish everyone would collectively chill. I don’t have all the answers, in fact I really don’t have a clue how anything should be run, but I do know things are looking pretty grim right now.
One quote keeps me going whenever I start to lose hope: “You can’t do all the good the world needs, but the world needs all the good you can do.” So here I am trying my best to bring just a little more love and light into the world.
Glad you’re here! I hope you find something on this blog that resonates with you, and if you do, I hope you will let me know. Peace!
